Working committees of the Department of Education (DepEd) have wrapped up and detailed the preparations for the upcoming 1st ever Philippine Youth Convergence (PYC) to be held in Puerto Princesa City this June 15-17.

The PYC 2022 is the 1st ever event to gather all the youth, mainly the student- leaders nationwide, to educate them about the problems of this generation and how to solve them. PYC has an expected 2,007 delegates (DepEd officials, advisers, and students) from 216 Schools Division Offices.

City DepEd OIC – Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Loida P. Adornado noted that PPC-PYC hosting would be chiefly about enhancing leadership among all of the students- leaders from the different regions in the entire Philippines.

“So it means samahan talaga, nag ipon-ipon ang lahat ng ating mga student leaders for three days they will be here, and there are capable and very confident speakers to discuss various topics,” OIC-SDS Adornado said. #
